Gardenhood is an exploration of the gardening life and life as a garden. When does a patch of earth become a garden? How does a person grow while in the garden? How does one let go of perfection and find beauty? These questions and many more have played with my attention over many years of tending many gardens. I am Cheryl Conklin. Gardening is my profession as well as my refuge. I find it useful and interesting to hold the tension between differing notions until they resolve into each other or create a new harmony. Life and gardens have given me endless opportunities. It’s an honor to connect and share the stories and ruminations with you.
